The staff at the Johns Hopkins were veins a symptom check list as part of their evaluation of psycho'thctapy in oat-patients. At the time we were setting up our evaluation programs. at heard a talk by Dr. Frank concerning the symptom check list. _wo wrote to him and he sent us a copy of the schedule. Ho ran a number of trials in our patient population. were pleased with the resulto end decided to include it in our program. Subsequent to that, when we asked for information as to whether the teat had been standardised in any other population. or whether it had ever boon doacribcd separately, I cannot recall a satisfactory answer from either Dr. Frank or his codworkcra.
